Let me break this down. This is a fisculated Holstein cow, which has a hole in the side of its stomach that has a direct access to it rumen. I'm sticking my arm in there to feel the lining and to check out what its eating. My project is to take a type of feed and I placed it into little bags to stick into her stomach. Crazy huh? I was psyched!It sucks that I don't have more pictures from my major. I've done some crazy things from artificial insemination to my crazy meats class. I had to wear a knife set for a whole semester. I definitely stick out like a sore thumb in the crowd. I have even more interesting pictures from entomology.
